My Simple Summer Makeup
After not wearing makeup for months, I'm finally pulling myself together. On the rare (and safe) occasion I need to get ready, I finally revamped my makeup routine. If you know me you know I rarely switch up my makeup but this time I really nailed it. Here are the deets:
Natural-looking makeup starts with great skincare, but we'll save that for another post. I finally got on the IT Cosmetics train and I am loving it. It's full coverage but you only need a small amount of product and it truly feels like you have nothing on your skin. While struggling with acne, this product has made me feel comfortable and confident.
I apply a small amount of concealer to any areas that need a touch of brightening. The CC cream has amazing coverage so I barely need to use any concealer. This is my current favorite because it's full airbrushed coverage but super smooth and easy to blend.
I'm obsessed with this natural matte bronzer. I looked up the ingredients and it has zero pore-clogging ingredients. Finding products like this is rare and it has an amazing payoff. I add some definition to my look so I'm not all one color and then I'm done!
I also finally caved and got this palette. I am obsessed. It's so compact and really all I need. The matte colors are my go-to's but I've also dabbled in the shimmer shades. I keep it super matte and simple to give my eyes a little contour and warmth.
I quickly coat my lashes in this natural mascara and use a clean lash brush to remove any clumping and simply give my lashes a more natural look (pro tip). And instead of filling in my eyebrows, I opt for this clear gel to keep them brushed up and in place all day.
Lastly, I touch a few oil-prone spots with some translucent powder to set it in place and throw on a quick coat of the Hourglass lip pencil. I love this lip product because it's super smooth and hydrating.
