May Reading List 2020
Because reading is cool and we are cool here's our newest list. A mix of romance and thrillers to hold you over while stuck inside. (sorry but no one needs self-help right now, well we obviously all do but this is more fun)
"This devastatingly romantic debut novel about the enduring power of first love, with a shocking, unforgettable ending, is Love Story for a new generation."
"A clever, engrossing, and absolutely unputdownable page-turner of a read about what really lies beneath the surface of a marriage. Fans of Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train will be hooked on The Stranger’s Wife."
Okay, no quote here because I already read it and CANNOT recommend it enough. It totally got me on this romance kick I was fully hooked like it was a thriller. Such a page-turner and yes I was balling crying by the end.
Also just read this and it has an amazing twist! I could definitely tell I was reading from a crazy person's point of view from the first page. But I came around to the writing style very quickly and was very intrigued.
"Vivid, universal, and emotionally complex, Night Road raises profound questions about motherhood, identity, love, and forgiveness." This seems like a lot, but it came highly recommend and I'm willing to dive in headfirst.
This was CRAZY! I was so confused for so long! In a good way of course. Frustrated for answers I couldn't put it down.
