Lauren's Homemade Cold Brew
All it took was a quarantine to force me into making coffee at home. I'm no longer on the go and finally decided to see what all the hype was about. I could kick myself for how much money I've spent on Starbucks but let's not even get into that. I love the routine of making my own cold crew and it tastes so good! I love using the brands I think are best and feeling better about what I'm putting into my body. It's all-around a win-win. Here's everything you need to make your own at-home cold brew.
LE's Tips:
Don't grind your coffee beans too fine. Grind them medium-coarse for optimal flavor and texture when pressed.
Add cinnamon to your coffee grinds instead of to your actual coffee for better texture
Brew for 24 hours and then transfer cold brew to a mason jar to store and start your next batch so you never run out
Play around with different coffee bean brands to find your favorite
Opt for a liquid sweetener for that barista blend feel
