Lauren’s Chili Recipe

Get yourself in the Fall spirit and make this basic bitch chili with me! Spoiler alert, it’s SO good.

What you’ll need

1 pound ground beef

1 half yellow onion

3-4 cloves of garlic

4 tbsp chili powder

1 tsp coriander

2 tsp cumin

1 tsp oregano

1 can black beans

1 can pinto beans

14 oz. can tomato

1 tbsp tomato paste

1 cup of beef broth

1 box elbow noodles

1 bag sharp cheddar cheese

Place the beef in your pot and cook through

Add your onion, garlic, and spices

Once cooked, add in your beans, tomato, and tomato paste

Add broth and bring to a boil

Once boiling, turn stove down to a simmer and cover your chili leaving and opening for the steam

The longer you simmer, the more the chili will thicken and season

Serve with elbow noodles and cheese!
